Anne, Fiona and I are meeting UCD staff tmrw to talk about studio space etc over the summer. The Pecha Kucha proposal is a great idea and a good way to get things moving project-wise.

TUS
Tus is a platform set up to explore potential in Ireland in the wake of the boom. It consists of architects, engineers, planners and other professionals who have worked through the boom, and now want to examine the ramifications of it in Ireland and propose solutions to the problems that have emerged.

Studio space would be great. I'm presuming this would be from early June to September.
ReplyDeleteIf we're serious about getting together and making proposals we would need a space where we could meet regularly there for those months with a view to maybe having an exhibition in September.
We should use the remainder of April and May to blog out firm proposals to research and develop in the Summer.
Anyway just my thoughts, I'm totally prepared to put time into this if others willing to put the energy in, though everyone's circumstances will be different. I don't envisage getting much paid work in the meantime and this is potentially much more interesting!
